The MAX Transit Duo Pro integrates two powerful cellular modems with redundant SIM slots, supporting CAT-12 data rates of up to 600 Mbps downlink and 150 Mbps uplink, as well as CAT-7 with 300/150 Mbps. Combined with SpeedFusion VPN, the device enables Hot Failover, Smoothing, and bandwidth bonding across multiple WAN connections—including the Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. VPN throughput reaches 400 Mbps without and 200 Mbps with 256-bit AES encryption, while router throughput is at 1 Gbps. The simultaneous dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2x2 MIMO) can function as either WAN or access point, reliably delivering high bandwidth to 25 to 150 recommended users. Depending on the license, the bundle supports up to 20 SpeedFusion VPN peers.
Rugged Design for Mobile and Industrial Environments
The MAX Transit Duo Pro is built for tough deployment and meets stringent industrial certifications such as EN61373 (shock and vibration resistance) and EN50155 for rail applications. The extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +65°C and humidity from 15% to 95% (non-condensing) ensure reliable operation in extreme environments. Power can be supplied flexibly via two USB-C power inputs (20 V, 3 A), a wide-range DC input (12 V–56 V DC), or the included AC adapter. The Power Port with ignition detection enables automatic startup in vehicle applications.
Flexible Management and Security
The bundle offers comprehensive SIM flexibility: in addition to Nano-SIM (4FF), the router supports Peplink eSIM, BYO eSIM with two profiles per modem, as well as RemoteSIM and FusionSIM for centralized SIM provisioning. An RS232-compatible serial terminal port allows local configuration. SpeedFusion VPN secures data transmission with 256-bit AES encryption and enables edge computing with 8 GB of integrated storage for custom applications—ideal for decentralized data processing directly at the router.
