Technical Overview

As an unmanaged switch, the DIS-100G-06 delivers plug-and-play connectivity with no configuration overhead: store-and-forward switching at 12 Gbps switching capacity, an 8K-entry MAC address table, and an 8.92 Mpps forwarding rate at 64-byte packets keep data flowing reliably at scale. Jumbo frame support up to 9 KB, a 4.1 MB packet buffer, plus 16 MB flash and 128 MB DRAM round out the hardware. An MTBF above 200,000 hours plus cUL, CB, CE, and BSMI approvals reflect the unit's industrial-grade build. Maximum power consumption of just 6.3 W (2.49 W standby) and heat dissipation of 21.5 BTU/hr make it equally suited to enclosed, poorly ventilated control cabinets. Matching D-Link SFP transceivers — DIS-S301SX, DIS-S302SX, or DIS-S310LX — are available as accessories for the fiber ports.
