The D-Link DIS-100G-10P is an industrial unmanaged PoE+ switch with a high power budget, built for cabinet and outdoor enclosure installation. With eight PoE+ ports and a total budget of 240W, it is designed to simultaneously power multiple surveillance cameras and WLAN access points — for perimeter monitoring on industrial sites, along access roads, or wherever several cameras need to be aggregated at one central cabinet.

Technical Overview

A 20Gbps switching capacity and a MAC address table of up to 4,000 entries deliver reliable throughput in PoE-heavy installations. The switch supports jumbo frames up to 9KB and Energy Efficient Ethernet per IEEE 802.3az to reduce power draw under light load. 6kV surge protection on the Gigabit Ethernet ports and a rugged IP30 metal enclosure make it resilient against electrical disturbances in industrial settings.

Mounting & Delivery

The compact, fanless metal housing (130.6 x 99 x 40mm) is designed for DIN rail mounting and is notably more compact than its non-PoE sibling, the DIS-100G-10. Optional compatible D-Link SFP transceivers are available for fiber uplinks.
