Display and design

The watch features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits at 30% APL, delivering 5.5% larger screen area. The 41 mm case is paired with a black fluoroelastomer strap. A filigree, ridged crown provides improved grip, while the bezel incorporates a vertical, rounded lunette design.

Battery and charging

A high-performance silicon battery with energy density increased by 37% powers the watch across multiple usage scenarios. Battery life reaches up to 14 days under moderate usage, up to 7 days under typical usage, and up to 5 days with always-on display enabled. In outdoor sport mode, the watch delivers up to 40 hours of battery life.

Health and wellbeing monitoring

The watch integrates a PPG sensor for pulse-wave analysis, an SpO₂ sensor, and all-day heart-rate variability monitoring. Sleep monitoring tracks sleep phases, wake-up time, sleep hours, breathing rate, heart rate, and blood-oxygen saturation. Stress monitoring detects stress levels and suggests relaxation exercises. Atrial fibrillation detection uses pulse-wave analysis to identify potential risks.

Women's health features cycle tracking for period, ovulation, and fertile days based on body temperature, HRV, and breathing rate. Emotional wellbeing is visualised through 12 emotional states represented in flower forms, with virtual pets accompanying breathing exercises.

Sport and outdoor features

More than 100 sport modes are available, including cycling, running, and skiing. Cycling features include virtual cycling power, real-time cadence, and FTP values when used with a power meter. Voice navigation is supported for cycling. Skiing mode records up to 100 runs, including slope angle and maximum speed. Dual-band GNSS with 6-satellite positioning and a new antenna architecture provides positioning data for outdoor activities.

Safety and altitude features

Fall detection triggers an automatic SOS emergency call or a prompt depending on the situation. Pressing the crown five times quickly initiates an SOS call and sends a location message. Altitude adaptation provides warnings about risks in high-altitude regions at elevations of 2,500 m or above.

Connectivity and smart features

The watch supports Bluetooth calls directly from the wrist and is compatible with both iOS and Android. Standalone music playback is supported without a connected phone. A remote shutter function controls the smartphone camera for selfies, and voice memos can be recorded directly on the device.
