The FIPS license is used in conjunction with a PrimeCare subscription, which is included free for the first year. Starting with firmware version 8.5.0, PrimeCare is enabled by default, allowing seamless integration of the license into existing configurations. Activation takes place directly on the MAX Transit Duo Pro and requires no additional hardware.
