Zero-Touch Configuration and Mass Deployment
With InControl 2, manual setup of individual routers is eliminated. New Peplink devices are automatically detected upon connection and receive predefined configuration profiles, firmware versions, and security policies. Administrators can centrally plan SSIDs, SD-Switch ports, and WAN settings for any number of locations and deploy them with a single click—saving time, preventing misconfigurations, and significantly accelerating rollouts in branch networks or vehicle fleets.
GPS Fleet Management
When used with Peplink routers from the MAX HD2 and BR1 series, InControl 2 becomes a powerful fleet management tool. The interactive map view shows the current location of each vehicle, visualizes cellular coverage along the route, and logs speed profiles. Historical route data can be retrieved for any time period to analyze movement patterns and optimize connectivity on the go—a crucial foundation for reliable Vehicle Area Networks.
SD-WAN Provisioning and PepVPN
The integrated PepVPN configuration drastically reduces the effort required to establish secure site-to-site connections. Select your desired topology—Hub-and-Spoke, Mesh, or custom—and assign peers via drag-and-drop. InControl 2 generates the necessary VPN profiles and automatically distributes them to all participating devices. A fully provisioned SD-WAN infrastructure is created in under a minute, capable of dynamically adapting to changing requirements.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting
InControl 2 aggregates operational data from all connected devices and presents it in meaningful graphical reports. Define thresholds for WAN latency, packet loss, or bandwidth utilization and receive email notifications when deviations occur. Detailed event logs enable rapid root cause analysis. With the Remote Web Admin feature, you can access the web interface of any endpoint directly as if you were on site—reducing travel costs and significantly shortening response times during outages.
