The IPsec X.509 Certificate License Key replaces traditional pre-shared key authentication with a certificate-based method that meets the highest security requirements. Each Peplink MAX router receives a unique digital certificate signed by a trusted certification authority. This eliminates the risk of compromised passwords and ensures the integrity of VPN connections even in environments with many endpoints.
The solution supports strong encryption standards and enables the creation of tamper-proof tunnels between headquarters, branch offices, and mobile units. By using X.509 certificates, authentication is automated and operational security is increased – ideal for businesses with strict compliance requirements.
Easy Deployment and Management
The license is activated directly on the Peplink MAX router and managed via the central management platform InControl 2.
