Powerful Cellular Connectivity

The embedded CAT-4 modem reaches speeds of up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink and supports all relevant LTE bands for North America (B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66, B71), as well as 3G fallback on B2, B4, and B5. For global deployment, additional 3G bands B1 and B8 (APAC, EMEA) are also available. Certification by AT&T, T‑Mobile, Verizon, and FirstNet guarantees smooth operation in US cellular networks—ideal for enterprise-critical applications where reliability is paramount.

Rugged Design and Flexible Power Supply

The fanless, ventless metal housing reliably protects the electronics from dust, vibration, and extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C to +65 °C. The MAX Adapter can be powered via the 4‑pin Micro‑Fit power port (9–36 V DC) or the USB‑C port (5 V/2 A). Both inputs can be used simultaneously: in the event of a failure of the primary power source, the device switches seamlessly to USB‑C—an important feature for use in ignition-controlled vehicles or remote locations with mini-UPS systems.

Intelligent Management and Location Tracking

Thanks to integrated GPS and the Peplink InControl 2 platform, you always have precise location tracking of the adapter. Fleet managers benefit from automatic position tracking, geofencing, and detailed movement data. The web-based administration interface and cloud management enable full remote configuration—including APN settings, SMS control, data roaming, and IP passthrough. Additionally, the MAX Adapter supports digital inputs, ignition detection, and digital outputs (GPIO) for integration into vehicle and industrial environments.

Versatile Deployment Options

With two 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet LAN ports and a USB‑C port that functions as a virtual Ethernet adapter under Windows and Linux via RNDIS driver, the MAX Adapter integrates seamlessly into existing networks. The integrated DHCP server with reservation function and DNS proxy automatically provide local clients with IP addresses. Whether used as primary internet access for mobile point-of-sale systems, as a backup link for branch routers, or as a data gateway in vehicle fleets—the MAX Adapter always delivers a stable, carrier-certified connection.
