Operation and Performance Features

The license unlocks the Hot Failover function in the BR1 Mini Core. In the event of a primary WAN connection failure, automatic failover occurs to an available backup line. Thanks to Session Persistence, active sessions remain intact, ensuring that applications such as VoIP or VPN tunnels are not interrupted. Load balancing supports various algorithms such as Weighted Balance, Priority, Overflow, and Lowest Latency to optimally manage traffic.

Management and Integration

The Failover License integrates seamlessly into the Peplink MAX firmware. Configuration and monitoring are done via the Web Administrative Interface, the Command Line Interface (CLI), or the cloud-based InControl Cloud Management platform. Detailed bandwidth statistics and active session lists provide comprehensive control. Email notifications and Syslog support complete the management features.
