Highly Secure Connectivity for Telemetry and IoT

The MAX BR1 Mini is specifically designed to meet the demands of modern telemetry and IoT infrastructures. By deliberately omitting Wi-Fi and GPS functionality, the device minimizes potential entry points and complies with strict security requirements. The redundant SIM slots—two physical Nano-SIMs and support for Peplink eSIM and BYO eSIM with two profiles—ensure continuous cellular connectivity even if one network fails. Integrated I/O functionality via the PowerPort with GPIO allows direct integration into telemetry systems without additional hardware.

Industrial-Grade Design and Power Supply

The fanless, compact housing of the MAX BR1 Mini withstands temperatures from -40 °C to 65 °C and humidity levels from 15% to 95% (non-condensing). The wide DC input voltage range of 10 V to 30 V allows direct operation from vehicle batteries, solar installations, or industrial power grids. With a nominal power consumption of just 10 W (maximum 16 W), operating costs remain low. The package includes two LTE antennas (ACW-235) and a 12V-2A-4-pin power supply (ACW-632), enabling immediate deployment.

SpeedFusion VPN and Network Management

The router supports the full range of Peplink SpeedFusion technology: Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing, and bandwidth bonding are available out of the box. With up to 5 SpeedFusion peers and a PepVPN throughput of 80 Mbps (unencrypted) or 60 Mbps (256-bit AES), secure site-to-site VPN tunnels can be established. Management is possible via the local web interface, command line, or the cloud-based InControl platform. Comprehensive QoS features, VLAN support, dynamic routing, and a stateful firewall with DoS prevention complete the feature set.

Certifications and Carrier Compatibility

The MAX BR1 Mini is optimized for the North American market and certified by AT&T, FirstNet, T-Mobile, and Verizon. It supports LTE bands B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66, and B71, as well as 3G on B2 and B5. Compliance with UL 62368-1, UL 121201 (Class I and Division 2), FCC, CE, and RoHS confirms suitability for security-critical and potentially explosive environments.
