Peak Cellular Performance

The integrated CAT-20 LTE-A Pro modem achieves peak data rates of 2 Gbps downlink and 211 Mbps uplink and supports a wide range of LTE bands—including B1, B3, B7, B20, B28, B42, B48, and many more. Four SMA antenna ports for cellular ensure optimal signal quality, while US carrier certifications (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon C-Band, FirstNet) ensure seamless deployment in North America. A dedicated SMA port for GPS enables precise location tracking.

Failsafe Connectivity with SpeedFusion VPN

SpeedFusion VPN is the core of Peplink’s failover technology. The MAX BR1 Pro LTEA supports 2, 5, 10, or 20 VPN peers depending on the license and delivers a VPN throughput of 400 Mbps without encryption or 200 Mbps with 256-bit AES encryption. Hot Failover, Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding keep applications running seamlessly even during line disruptions. The router itself handles up to 1 Gbps total throughput.

Rugged Design for Outdoor Use

The MAX BR1 Pro LTEA is built for the harshest environments. It operates reliably in temperatures from -40 °C to 65 °C and humidity levels from 15% to 95% (non-condensing). Certifications including EN 61373 (shock and vibration), EN 50155 (rail applications), EN 61000 (EMC), and EN 45545-2 (fire protection for rail) confirm its suitability for vehicles, trains, and industrial installations. The Ignition Sensing function enables automatic startup and shutdown with vehicle ignition.

Flexible Network Integration

In addition to the 2.5-Gigabit WAN port, two 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports are available, with the WAN port configurable as an additional LAN port if needed. The router is suitable for 1 to 150 recommended users and integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructures. Up to 30 Peplink Access Points can be centrally managed via the integrated AP controller (or 50 with a license upgrade). Power is supplied via 10 V–30 V DC or the included AC adapter (100 V–240 V input, 12 V DC output) with a typical power consumption of 8 W.
