Maximum Signal Yield Through Intelligent Integration
Traditional installations with external antennas lead to significant signal losses – a 5-meter RF cable can absorb nearly the entire signal at higher frequencies. The MAX HD4 MBX with MediaFast circumvents this problem by housing the router directly inside the antenna enclosure. Connection to the rest of the network is made via a single Ethernet cable that carries both data and power. This allows you to achieve virtually lossless transmission even at 5G frequencies, maximizing the range and throughput of your Peplink router.
Optimized for Outdoor Use
The housing made from UV-stabilized plastic permanently withstands moisture, salt spray, and corrosion. It meets UL protection rating requirements and is compliant with RoHS, REACH, and WEEE. The robust construction ensures reliable operation in demanding environments – whether on vehicles, masts, or exposed building locations.
Flexible Mounting and Versatile Compatibility
The included L-bracket enables quick and secure attachment to walls, masts, decks, or directly on vehicles such as trucks, vans, and boats. The MAX HD4 MBX with MediaFast is optimized for use with the Peplink HD4 MBX router and supports MediaFast technology for local content caching. For routers without PoE support, an optional PoE splitter can be used.
