Rugged Design for Outdoor Use

The MAX HD4 MBX housing is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and permanently resists moisture, water ingress, salt spray, and corrosion. Flame resistance meets UL requirements, and the product complies with ROHS, REACH, and WEEE guidelines. With a diameter of 250 mm and a height of 120 mm, it provides ample space for integrating compatible routers and reliably protects electronics from extreme weather conditions.

High-Performance Antenna Elements

The antenna combines four cellular elements, two Wi-Fi elements, and one GPS element in a compact housing. The cellular elements cover frequencies from 617 to 6000 MHz and achieve peak gains of up to 6.6 dBi. The Wi-Fi elements deliver 5.4 dBi at 2.4 GHz and 7.4 dBi at 5 GHz. The GPS element provides a gain of 0.9 dBi at 1575 MHz and 0.8 dBi at 1602 MHz, supported by a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with 27 ±3 dB gain and a noise figure of 2.5 dB. All elements are linearly polarized and rated for 10 W power handling, with a VSWR of under 2.5 across 95% of the band.

Flexible Compatibility and Mounting

The MAX HD4 MBX is compatible with a wide range of Peplink routers, including the BR1 Mini Series (BR1 Mini, BR1 Mini Core, BR1 Mini 5G, BR1 Mini M2M), Transit Duo Pro, BR1 Pro 5G and CAT20, as well as the Adapter Series (POTS Adapter and MAX Adapter) and the AP One Rugged. A PoE splitter is required for devices without PoE support. The included L-bracket allows for fixed roof mounting; additionally, mast, wall, and ceiling mounting options are available, facilitating deployment on vehicles, boats, and buildings.
