Performance and Throughput

The SN2200 handles the most demanding security workloads with a firewall performance of 115 Gbit/s (1518-byte UDP packets) and 32.8 Gbit/s under realistic IMIX traffic. The Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) achieves 53.1 Gbit/s (1518-byte UDP) or 14.3 Gbit/s (IMIX), while the Threat Protection Engine delivers 6.6 Gbit/s. For encrypted site-to-site networking, it provides 23.7 Gbit/s IPsec throughput (AES-GCM, 1408-byte UDP) and 12.9 Gbit/s (IMIX). The appliance supports up to 6,900 IPsec VPN tunnels and 2,400 SSL VPN clients with 5 million concurrent sessions and 300,000 new sessions per second.

Design and Reliability

The 1U 19-inch chassis (44.45 x 443 x 610 mm, 9.93 kg) integrates five hot-swappable fans and redundant, also hot-swappable power supply (2x 100–240 V AC, optional 2x -36 to -72 V DC). The two 2.5 GbE management ports and three free network slots allow flexible interface configurations—from copper 10/100/1000/2500 to fiber 100 Gb. For log storage, 240 GB SSD (RAID 1, hot-swappable) is included, optionally expandable to 960 GB (Big Data option). The MTBF at 25 °C is 39.8 years, and the noise level is 61 dB.

Certifications and Compliance

The SN2200 meets strict regulatory requirements and is certified according to international standards: CE, FCC, RCM, UKCA, CB, as well as IEC-62443-4-1. Additionally, it carries the qualifications “Qualification Standard” and “Producto CCN Aprobado & Cualificado.” The appliance comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty and is suitable for deployment in critical infrastructures with the highest security and availability demands.
