Performance and Throughput

With a non-blocking switching capacity of 10 Gbps and a MAC address table supporting 2,000 entries, the TSW114 ensures lossless data transmission even in heavily loaded networks. Jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes are supported, increasing efficiency for large data packets. The integrated Auto-MDI/MDIX crossover eliminates the need for crossover cables, simplifying cabling.

Rugged Design and Flexible Mounting

The anodised aluminium housing and IP30 protection rating make the switch resistant to dust and mechanical stress. The integrated DIN-rail mount enables quick installation in control cabinets, while optional wall-mounting kits and the compact form factor (113.1 x 27.4 x 80.5 mm) provide additional flexibility. Status LEDs for power and each LAN port offer at-a-glance information on connection status and speed.

Power Supply and Energy Efficiency

The TSW114 is powered via a 2-pin industrial DC connector with a wide input voltage range of 9 to 30 VDC. The passive PoE function allows power to be supplied over a LAN cable—note that this is not compatible with the IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards. With a power consumption of just 0.3 W in idle mode and a maximum of 2.3 W, the switch is highly energy-efficient, making it ideal for continuous operation in remote installations.

Certifications and Environmental Conditions

The switch meets a range of international certifications, including CE, UKCA, FCC, IC, CB, RCM, and the safety standard EN IEC 62368-1:2020+A11:2020. It is designed for use in extreme environments from -40 °C to 75 °C and humidity levels of 10 % to 90 % (non-condensing), and complies with REACH, RoHS, and WEEE requirements.
