Remote Control and CAN Data Access

The CAN-CONTROL module enables bidirectional communication with the vehicle via the CAN bus. Carsharing fleet operators can remotely lock and unlock vehicles and control windows directly through the telematics platform. At the same time, the adapter continuously reads CAN data and transmits it to the connected tracker. This makes information such as mileage, fuel level, battery charge status, or door status available in real time. Support for CAN FD ensures compatibility with current and future vehicle generations that use higher bandwidths and advanced data protocols.

Integration with Teltonika Trackers

The CAN-CONTROL module was specifically developed for seamless cooperation with Teltonika telematics devices. It connects directly to the vehicle’s CAN bus and communicates with the tracker via a serial interface. Configuration is done centrally via Teltonika software, eliminating the need for additional programming efforts. The adapter solution supports a wide range of Teltonika models and can be flexibly integrated into existing fleet infrastructures—for both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles.
