The Teltonika TSW304 is an ultra-compact industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch engineered for space-constrained DIN rail installations. It provides four 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, passive PoE input on port one, and a wide 7–57 VDC / 9–40 VAC power range. Housed in a durable aluminum casing, the switch operates reliably across a -40 °C to +75 °C temperature range, making it ideal for demanding IoT, M2M, and edge networking environments.

Performance & Throughput

The TSW304 delivers 8 Gbps switching bandwidth, enabling full wire-speed forwarding across all four Gigabit ports. A 2K-entry MAC address table and 128 KB packet buffer maintain consistent throughput in small-scale industrial networks. Jumbo frame support up to 9216 bytes reduces CPU overhead and improves efficiency for video, imaging, and large data transfers. Auto MDI/MDIX crossover on every port simplifies cabling by automatically adapting to straight-through or crossover connections.

Industrial Design & Power

Built for harsh environments, the switch features an aluminum housing that dissipates heat effectively while withstanding the rigors of industrial deployment. The integrated DIN rail mount enables secure, space-saving installation inside electrical enclosures. A 2-pin industrial power socket accepts a wide input range of 7–57 VDC or 9–40 VAC, drawing just 0.26 W at idle and a maximum of 1.44 W. Passive PoE input on port No. 1 allows the switch to be powered over the same Ethernet cable from a compatible PoE source, reducing wiring complexity.
