Performance and Connectivity

The TSW030 delivers a non-blocking 20 Gbps backplane and supports Jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes, ensuring efficient data transfer even for large packets. Its 2,000-entry MAC address table and 128 KB packet buffer enable smooth switching in dense industrial networks. All eight copper ports automatically detect cable type (auto MDI/MDIX), simplifying deployment regardless of straight-through or crossover cabling.

Rugged Design for Industrial Environments

Engineered for demanding deployments, the switch is housed in an anodised aluminium enclosure with an IP30 protection rating. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C and supports relative humidity from 10 % to 90 % without condensation. The integrated DIN rail mount allows quick installation in electrical cabinets, while wall or flat-surface mounting options are available with an additional kit.

Power and Electrical Protection

Power is supplied via a 2-pin industrial DC connector accepting 7 to 57 VDC. The switch includes surge protection up to 60 Vmax, reverse polarity protection up to 80 Vmax, and transient overload protection with a breakdown voltage between 64.4 V and 71.2 V, a maximum reverse voltage of 93.6 V at a peak reverse current of 4.3 A. Power consumption is limited to 0.5 W idle and 1.5 W at full load.
