Powerful Wi-Fi Coverage

The AmpliFi Instant system uses 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology with dual-band support, reaching speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The 2x2 MIMO configuration and a maximum transmit power of 22 dBm ensure a stable and powerful connection. Together with the MeshPoint, the system covers an area of up to 4,000 square feet, ensuring reliable Wi-Fi coverage in every room.

Easy Operation and Compact Design

The router features a capacitive touchscreen display with a diagonal of 30.73 mm (1.21 inches), a resolution of 160 x 64 pixels, and 142 ppi. It clearly displays system status and enables intuitive operation directly on the device. The router and MeshPoint share an identical, space-saving housing measuring just 99.5 x 97.8 x 33.05 mm and weighing 215 g each. Both devices are equipped with a reset button.

Security and Reliability

The system provides WPA2-PSK encryption with AES/TKIP for secure wireless connections. Built-in ESD/EMP protection of ±24 kV (air/contact) protects the hardware from electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic interference. Operation is ensured within a temperature range of -10 to 55 °C and humidity of 5 to 95% (non-condensing), guaranteeing reliable operation even in demanding environments.
