Switching Performance

The EdgeSwitch 16-Port 150W provides a non-blocking throughput of 18 Gbps and a switching capacity of 36 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 26.78 million packets per second. This architecture ensures efficient traffic handling across all connected devices, supporting demanding network environments without bottlenecks.

PoE+ Flexibility

Each of the 16 RJ45 ports can deliver PoE+ IEEE 802.3af/at power (up to 34.2W) or configurable 24V passive PoE (up to 17W). The internal 150W DC power supply supports a maximum total PoE output of 150W, while the switch itself consumes only 28W. The voltage range for 802.3at mode is 50–57V, and for 24V passive PoE it is 20–27V.

Fiber Connectivity

Two 1 Gbps SFP ports provide fiber uplink options for extending network reach or connecting to aggregation switches. These ports support standard SFP modules, enabling flexible, high-speed backbone links without sacrificing any of the 16 copper access ports.

Management Interface

The switch is managed via an RJ45 serial console port and supports both in-band and out-of-band Ethernet management. This allows administrators to configure and monitor the device using standard terminal applications or network-based tools, integrating seamlessly into existing operational workflows.
