Description
The Ubiquiti SuperLink Environmental Sensor is a battery-powered IoT sensor that detects water leaks, temperature, humidity, and ambient light, transmitting data via proprietary SuperLink wireless technology with a range of up to 2 km. It integrates with UniFi Protect and is suitable for use in business premises of all sizes.

Sensor Functions & Connectivity
The sensor combines four detection functions in one housing: a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a water sensor. For water leak detection, a 3.5 mm AUX port (TRS or TS) is also available, allowing connection to an external water leak probe. Data transmission is handled via the proprietary SuperLink wireless protocol, which uses different frequency bands in the US, EU, and Japan. With a maximum transmit power of 14 dBm and an antenna gain of 0 dBi, the sensor achieves a maximum range of 2 km.
Power & Mounting
Power is supplied by a CR123A lithium battery at a supported voltage of 3 V, resulting in a maximum power consumption of 34.9 mW. Under these conditions, the battery life is up to 6 years. The housing is made of polycarbonate, while the bracket is made of galvanized steel. Weighing 47.8 g for the device and 70 g including the bracket, the sensor can be discreetly placed. Mounting options include adhesive, magnetic, or screw attachment. A factory reset button and a function button are available, with two LEDs indicating status and signal information.
Environmental Conditions
The sensor is designed for operation in ambient temperatures from -20 to 40 °C and relative humidity of 10 to 90% (non-condensing). The IPX5 weather resistance rating protects the device against water jets. Management and monitoring are handled via the UniFi Protect application, available as a web application and mobile app for iOS and Android.
