Description

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-x.xM is an OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cable for 100G network applications. Both ends of the cable are fitted with Type B UPC MPO-12 connectors, enabling direct connection of compatible optical network components. The cable operates at a wavelength of 850 nm and features a maximum insertion attenuation of 0.6 dB, as well as a return loss of at least 20 dB. The specified repeatability accuracy is a maximum of 0.1 dB. Even after 1,000 mating cycles, the indicated variation in optical attenuation is a maximum of 0.2 dB. The pink LSZH cable jacket has an outer diameter of 3 mm and reduces the generation of smoke and halogen gases in the event of a fire. With an operating temperature range of −40 to 75 °C, the cable is designed for professional indoor optical installations.

Application

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-x.xM is suitable for high-speed, short-distance optical connections between network components compatible with MPO-12 connectors. The 0.5 m version is specifically intended for direct connections within a network or server cabinet. Typical areas of application include data centers, server rooms, enterprise networks, and high-performance backbone infrastructures. The cable can be used, for example, to connect switches, optical transceivers, or compatible fiber distribution systems. Components with the corresponding Type B UPC MPO-12 interface and compatible fiber mapping are required.
