Outdoor Durability & Protection

Designed for permanent outdoor deployment, the UISP Cable Pro withstands a wide range of environmental conditions. The white thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket resists UV degradation, tested to ASTM G 151/154, and the cable carries a VW-1 flame rating per UL1581 for added safety. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -30 to 75°C (-22°F to 167°F) and can be installed in conditions as low as -20°C (-4°F).

Cable Construction & Materials

The cable features four twisted pairs of solid bare copper conductors, each 24 AWG, with a color-coded sequence: white-blue/blue, white-orange/orange, white-green/green, and white-brown/brown. F/UTP shielding provides an overall foil shield, while an integrated ESD drain wire safely dissipates electrostatic charges. A ripcord is included to simplify jacket removal during termination.

Installation & Handling

Supplied in a box measuring 358 x 341 x 352 mm (14.09 x 13.43 x 13.86") and weighing 14.2 kg (31.32 lb), the 305 m (1,000 ft) spool is manageable for field deployment. The minimum bend radius of 48 mm (1.89") helps maintain signal integrity during routing, and the cable can be installed at temperatures from -20 to 60°C (-4 to 140°F).
