The UniFi AP AC Pro is a WiFi 5 access point with simultaneous dual-band 3×3 MIMO for 2.4 and 5 GHz radio, supporting up to 250+ clients across a coverage area of 140 m². It delivers maximum data rates of 1.3 Gbps in the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, and is powered via Power over Ethernet using the included PoE adapter.

Performance & Radio Technology
The access point operates under the WiFi 5 standard (802.11ac) and uses six spatial streams across two radio modules. In the 5 GHz band, it achieves a maximum data rate of 1.3 Gbps with an 80 MHz channel bandwidth, while in the 2.4 GHz band, it reaches up to 450 Mbps with a 40 MHz bandwidth. Both radios support 3×3 MIMO with downlink MU-MIMO and provide an antenna gain of 3 dBi each. The maximum transmit power is 22 dBm on both bands. Supported data rates range from 6.5 Mbps to 1.3 Gbps in 802.11ac mode (MCS0 to MCS9, NSS1/2/3, VHT 20/40/80) and from 6.5 Mbps to 450 Mbps in 802.11n mode (MCS0 to MCS23, HT 20/40). Each radio supports up to eight BSSIDs.

Management & Features
Management is handled via the access point’s Ethernet interface. Band Steering automatically distributes clients to the most suitable radio band, while Advanced Radio Management optimizes frequency allocation. The access point supports Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK) for individual client credentials and WiFi Speed Limiting for bandwidth control. Client Device Isolation separates clients within the same network, and WiFi Schedules enable time-based WLAN availability.
For authentication and network access, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec) and Dynamic RADIUS-assigned VLAN are available. The captive portal offers voucher authentication, password authentication, payment-based authentication, and external portal server integration. A custom-brandable landing page and Guest Network Isolation complete the hotspot features. Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) enables automatic network authentication for compatible devices.

Design & Mounting
The housing is made of polycarbonate and measures ⌀196.7 × 35 mm. The access point weighs 350 g without the mounting bracket and 450 g with the bracket. Mounting is possible on ceilings or walls, with Pro Mount support. A system status LED indicates operational status. The access point is designed for use in environments with 5 to 95 % relative humidity (non-condensing).

Connectivity & Power Supply
The access point features two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, with the uplink via GbE. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet, and a PoE adapter is included. The supported voltage range is 44–57 V DC, with a maximum power consumption of 9 W.

Certifications & Compliance
The access point holds Anatel approval 01943-16-08356. It is NDAA-compliant. The warranty period is 12 months.
