The Ubiquiti UDB-Switch is a desktop or wall-mount device that combines 2.5G Ethernet switching with WiFi 7 wireless connectivity, offering eight PoE+ ports and a 10 GbE uplink port for high-density network deployments.

Connectivity and PoE power
The device features seven 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports for access switching and an additional 10 GbE RJ45 port that serves as a higher-capacity uplink. All eight RJ45 ports support PoE+ with a maximum of 30 W per port, enabling power to network devices such as cameras, access points, or IP phones directly from the switch. Total PoE availability depends on the power adapter used: 60 W with the 35 W adapter and 185 W with the 210 W adapter. The device’s maximum power consumption is 25 W, excluding PoE output, and the supported voltage range is 42.5 to 57 V DC. Power is supplied via a 54 V DC/1.1 A DC jack, with an adapter included in the packaging.
WiFi 7 wireless performance
The UDB-Switch includes a built-in WiFi 7 (802.11be) access point with four spatial streams and an internal antenna. In the 6 GHz band, it operates with 2 x 2 MIMO, achieving a maximum data rate of 5.8 Gbps with a 320 MHz channel width, 8 dBi antenna gain, and a maximum transmit power of 23 dBm. In the 5 GHz band, also with 2 x 2 MIMO, the maximum data rate reaches 4.3 Gbps with a 240 MHz channel width, 8 dBi antenna gain, and a maximum transmit power of 26 dBm. The combined maximum conducted transmit power is 26 dBm. Operating frequencies cover the ranges 5150–5875 MHz and 5945–7125 MHz, with supported channel widths of 20, 40, 80, 160, 240, and 320 MHz. The device is backward compatible with the 802.11a, 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax standards, and WPA3 SAE wireless security is always enabled.
Design, management, and deployment
The device’s enclosure and mounting bracket are made of polycarbonate, with dimensions of 212.9 x 113 x 32.5 mm. The device weighs 548 g, or 563 g including the mounting bracket. A 0.96" LCM panel serves as the status display, and the device includes a factory reset button. Mounting options include desktop and wall. Management is available via Ethernet or WiFi, and UniFi Network version 10.0.156 or later is required. The device is designed for reliable operation in a wide range of environmental conditions and holds NDAA compliance.
