High-Performance Switching

The USW-Flex-Mini handles data traffic across all ports simultaneously at full line speed—without packet loss. Its non-blocking architecture delivers a switching capacity of 10 Gbps and a total throughput of 5 Gbps. With a forwarding rate of 7 Mpps and a MAC address table supporting 2,000 entries, the switch excels in demanding environments. Auto-MDIX automatically detects cable type and adjusts pin assignments for straight-through or crossover cables.

Flexible Power and Robust Design

The switch can be powered via the PoE input (802.3af/at, pins 1, 2+; 3, 6-) or the USB Type-C port (4.7–5.3V DC). The polycarbonate housing is compact (107 x 70 x 21 mm) and weighs just 150 g. Integrated ESD/EMP protection (air: ±16 kV, contact: ±12 kV) and compliance with the ETSI300-019-1.4 standard for shock and vibration ensure reliable operation. The operating temperature range of -5 to 45 °C and humidity tolerance of 10 to 90% (non-condensing) allow deployment in diverse environments.

Intelligent Network Features

The USW-Flex-Mini supports port-based VLANs (up to 1,000 VLANs) and offers extensive Layer 2 features. Jumbo Frames, Flow Control, and Storm Control (configurable per port) optimize data flow. Port isolation, port mirroring (switching or mirroring per port), egress rate limiting, and multicast/broadcast rate limiting enhance security and control. Management is handled in-band via Ethernet and the UniFi Network Controller (version 5.12.5 or later), enabling centralized configuration and detailed analytics.
