Advanced Imaging & Night Vision

The G4 Dome leverages a 5MP CMOS sensor and fixed focal length lens to capture 4MP (2688×1512) video at 24 FPS. A wide 102.4° horizontal field of view ensures broad coverage, while image settings—brightness, contrast, sharpness, saturation, noise reduction, and 50/60 Hz flicker adjustment—allow fine-tuning for any environment. In low light, the built-in light sensor automatically engages IR LED illumination with an IR cut filter, delivering clear monochrome footage up to 9 m (30 ft) away.

Intelligent Detection & Two-Way Audio

On-camera smart detection algorithms classify people, vehicles, and animals in real time, reducing false alerts and enabling precise event search within UniFi Protect. The integrated microphone and speaker support two-way audio, allowing security personnel to listen and communicate directly through the camera. Audio can be disabled via software to meet privacy requirements.

Rugged Design for Indoor & Outdoor Use

Engineered for reliable operation in harsh conditions, the G4 Dome features an aluminum alloy, polycarbonate, and hard-coated dome enclosure with IPX4 weatherproofing and IK08 impact resistance. It mounts discreetly on walls or ceilings using the included polycarbonate and stainless steel bracket, with optional junction box and arm mounts available. The camera operates in temperatures from -20 to 40° C (-4 to 104° F) and up to 90% noncondensing humidity.

Seamless UniFi Protect Integration

Managed entirely through the UniFi Protect controller software and mobile apps (iOS and Android), the G4 Dome benefits from a quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A53 processor, 512 MB memory, and 256 MB flash. A single GbE RJ45 port handles both data and 802.3af PoE power (44–57V DC, 5W max), simplifying installation. The camera is NDAA compliant and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications.
