Performance and Throughput

The USW-Flex-XG handles demanding workloads with an 82 Gbps switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 61.012 Mpps. Its non-blocking throughput of 41 Gbps ensures all ports can operate at full speed simultaneously—perfect for 10GbE uplinks, high-speed NAS access, and latency-sensitive applications.

Flexible Power Supply and Robust Design

The device can be powered either via 802.3at PoE (pins 1, 2+/3, 6- or 4, 5+/7, 8-) at 50–57 VDC and 25 W or using the included USB-C adapter (5 VDC, 5 A, 1.5 m cable). The adapter accepts an input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC. The polycarbonate housing is compact (135 x 185 x 32 mm) and weighs 1.2 kg, allowing it to blend seamlessly into any environment. Physical stacking is not supported.

Management and Integration

Configuration and monitoring are fully managed via the UniFi Network Controller over Ethernet in-band. The system LED (blue/white) indicates device status—from booting and firmware upgrades to adoption. Ethernet LEDs display link and activity in white. A factory reset button enables quick restoration to default settings.

Operating Environments and Certifications

The switch is designed for continuous operation at temperatures from -5 to 45 °C and relative humidity of 10–90% (non-condensing). It meets CE, FCC, and IC certifications and includes integrated ESD/EMP protection. As an SMB Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch, it is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses requiring a reliable 10GbE infrastructure.
