Performance & Throughput

The Pro‑Aggregation switch delivers a total non‑blocking throughput of 380 Gbps and a switching capacity of 760 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 565 Mpps. A 4 MB packet buffer and support for jumbo frames ensure efficient handling of large data bursts. Advanced traffic control features include flow control, storm control, multicast and broadcast rate limiting, and egress rate limiting, all configurable per port to maintain network stability under heavy loads.

Layer 3 Features & Management

Fully managed by the UniFi Controller (version 6.1.25 or later), the switch offers a comprehensive Layer 3 feature set. It supports inter‑VLAN routing, static routing with up to 256 IPv4 routes, and a DHCP server for local networks, along with DHCP relay. IGMP snooping and advanced IGMP configuration (querier, fast leave, router port) optimize multicast traffic, while QoS (DSCP) and Pro AV profiles (Dante, NDI, SDVoE, AES67, and more) ensure seamless integration in media‑over‑IP environments. Security is enforced through 802.1X control, MAC‑based ACLs, IP‑based ACLs, DHCP snooping and guarding, port isolation, and MAC address blocking.

Design & Reliability

Housed in a robust SGCC steel 1U rack‑mount chassis, the switch measures 442 x 325 x 44 mm and weighs 4.6 kg (without brackets). It supports rack depths from 400 to 1200 mm. The front‑panel 1.3" touch LCM provides at‑a‑glance status, while white LEDs indicate link and activity on all SFP28/SFP+ ports. Power is supplied by an internal 100W AC/DC unit (100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz) with a maximum consumption of 100W; a DC input (11.5VDC, 8.7A) accepts power from a USP‑RPS for redundancy. ESD/EMP protection is rated at ±16kV air and ±12kV contact, and the switch operates reliably in temperatures from -5 to 40° C with 10–90% noncondensing humidity.

Deployment & Integration

The Pro‑Aggregation switch integrates seamlessly into existing UniFi ecosystems. It is NDAA compliant and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications. Network administrators can leverage port mirroring, LLDP‑MED, voice VLAN, loop protection, and virtual network override for flexible deployment. The switch supports up to 1,000 VLANs and a MAC address table of 32,000 entries, making it suitable for large‑scale enterprise environments. In‑band Ethernet management simplifies configuration without dedicated out‑of‑band ports.
