A 1.5 MB packet buffer and a MAC address table supporting 16,000 entries ensure reliable processing even under heavy traffic loads. The switch supports up to 1,000 VLANs and 256 IPv4 static routes for Layer 3 routing. Layer 2 and Layer 3 Features At the Layer 2 level, the switch supports IGMP snooping with advanced IGMP configuration (Querier, Fast Leave, Router Port), STP and RSTP, port isolation, storm control, voice VLAN, port mirroring, and LACP port aggregation. Additional Layer 2 features include multicast and broadcast rate limiting, MAC address blocking, flow control, 802.1X authentication, jumbo frames, loop protection, DHCP snooping and guarding, egress rate limiting, LLDP-MED, and QoS (DSCP). At the Layer 3 level, the switch offers a DHCP server for locally managed networks, DHCP relay, inter-VLAN routing between networks on the same switch, and static routing between local networks. Pro-AV profiles for Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron are also supported. Security and Access Control The switch supports MAC-based ACLs with device isolation as well as IP-based ACLs with network isolation. MAC-based port restriction, port isolation, and 802.1X authentication enable granular port-level access control. Virtual Network Override allows targeted assignment of ports to virtual networks. The switch is NDAA-compliant. Design and Power Supply The enclosure is made of SGCC steel and weighs 1.95 kg with dimensions of 325.1 x 160 x 43.7 mm. The switch can be mounted as a 1U rackmount, desktop unit, or on a wall, supporting rack depths from 400 to 1200 mm. Power is supplied via an included external AC/DC adapter with a USB Type-C connector at 5V DC and 5A. Maximum power consumption is 25W with a heat dissipation of 85.3 BTU per hour. The supported voltage range is 4.8 to 5.2V DC via USB. Management and Compatibility Management is handled via Ethernet AR. A 1.3-inch touchscreen serves as the local LCM display. The switch is managed through UniFi Network and requires application version 8.1.127 or higher.
