Performance and switching capacity The switch provides 84 Gbps switching capacity and a non-blocking total throughput of 42 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 62 Mpps. The MAC address table supports up to 16,000 entries, and the packet buffer is 1.5 MB. It supports 1,000 VLANs and up to 256 IPv4 static routes, enabling traffic segmentation and routing between local networks without additional hardware. Ports and physical design The front panel features 12 1GbE RJ45 ports (1G/100M/10M), 4 2.5GbE RJ45 ports (2.5G/1G/100M/10M), and 2 10G SFP+ ports (10G/1G). The chassis, made of SGCC steel, measures 325.1 x 160 x 43.7 mm and weighs 1.95 kg. It can be rack-mounted (400–1200 mm depth), placed on a desktop, or wall-mounted, all in a 1U form factor. Layer 2 and Layer 3 features Layer 2 features include LACP for port aggregation, STP and RSTP, QoS via DSCP, storm control, multicast and broadcast rate limiting, port isolation, and port mirroring. It supports jumbo frames, LLDP-MED, Voice VLAN, and loop protection. On Layer 3, the switch performs inter-VLAN routing, static routes, local DHCP server, and DHCP relay, all manageable through the UniFi Network interface. Security and access control The switch implements 802.1X control, MAC-based and IPv4-based access control lists with 128 entries each, and device isolation by MAC address. It includes DHCP snooping and guarding, MAC address lockdown, port restriction by MAC, and IP-based network isolation. Virtual network override allows port-specific segmentation policies. Pro AV and IGMP support The switch includes preconfigured Pro AV profiles for Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron, simplifying deployment in professional audio and video environments. Advanced IGMP configuration includes querier, fast leave, and router port functions, complemented by IGMP snooping for efficient multicast traffic handling. Power and thermal management The switch is powered by an included 25W external AC/DC adapter, with a USB Type-C input at 5V DC and 5A. The supported voltage range is 4.8–5.2V DC via USB.
