Ports and Performance
The switch combines 16 10 GbE RJ45 ports and 8 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, all PoE+++ compatible and capable of negotiating speeds down to 10 Mbit/s. Two 25G SFP28 ports on the front panel serve as uplinks, supporting 25G, 10G, and 1G modules. The switching capacity reaches 460 Gbps, delivering a total non-blocking throughput of 230 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 342 Mpps.
The MAC address table supports up to 32,000 entries, and the switch handles 1,000 VLANs. An 8 MB packet buffer helps maintain smooth traffic under load, while jumbo frames are supported to optimize large transfers.
Power and PoE
All 24 RJ45 ports deliver PoE+++ power with a maximum of 90 W per port. The total available PoE budget is 720 W, enabling simultaneous power to demanding devices such as multi-gig access points, PTZ cameras, or professional displays. Power levels per port adapt to PoE (15.4 W), PoE+ (30 W), PoE++ (60 W), and PoE+++ (90 W) standards.
The internal 870 W AC/DC power supply accepts an input voltage of 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption reaches 870 W (including PoE) or 150 W (excluding PoE output). A UniFi RPS DC input ensures power redundancy in case of primary source failure.
Management and Layer 3 Features
The switch is manageable via the UniFi Network application from version 9.1.120, centralizing configuration, monitoring, and deployment in a unified interface. The built-in 1.3" LCM touchscreen on the chassis provides immediate local visibility of system status. Etherlighting™ illuminates Ethernet and SFP28 ports to indicate location, connection speed, and associated native VLAN or network.
As a Layer 3 switch, it supports static routing with up to 512 IPv4 routes, inter-VLAN routing on local networks, as well as a DHCP server and DHCP relay. Link aggregation (LACP), STP/RSTP, DSCP QoS, Voice VLAN, and LLDP-MED are also available to optimize traffic management and quality of service.
Security and Access Control
802.1X control, MAC- and IP-based access control lists, as well as port and device isolation ensure strict network segmentation. The switch includes DHCP Snooping and Guarding, MAC address blocking, MAC-based port restriction, and egress rate limiting. Loop protection, storm control, and multicast/broadcast traffic limiting complete the security measures.
Port mirroring, IPv4 and MAC access lists (256 each), and Virtual Network Override enable detailed traffic analysis and granular network policy control. ESD protection reaches ±30 kV in air and ±20 kV in contact, enhancing resistance to electrostatic discharges.
Professional AV and Deployment
Preconfigured Pro AV profiles cover Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron protocols, simplifying integration into professional audiovisual environments. Advanced IGMP configuration includes a Querier, Fast Leave, and router port designation, complemented by IGMP Snooping for efficient multicast management. The switch mounts in a 1U rack on four-post racks with depths from 600 to 1,066 mm.
