Overview

The UVC-AI-360 is a high-resolution panoramic ceiling-mount camera designed for monitoring large, high-traffic areas. With its 5-megapixel CMOS sensor and fisheye lens, it delivers a full 360° field of view, seamlessly covering shopping centers, parking lots, airports, train stations, and other busy environments. The camera streams video at 1920×1920 pixels and 30 frames per second, using computer vision to detect and monitor people on the premises.

Optics and Image Quality

The 5-megapixel CMOS sensor works with a fisheye lens to capture a 360° field of view. Video resolution is 4MP (1920×1920) at a 1:1 aspect ratio, with a maximum frame rate of 30 FPS. Available video compression formats include H.264 and MJPG. Image settings include color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, 2DNR, 3DNR, masking, and text overlay.

Night Vision and AI Detection

For nighttime recording, the camera features integrated IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter with a range of 9 m. The computer vision function automatically detects people, vehicles, and animals, enabling targeted monitoring without manual review. These smart detection features run directly on the camera’s quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor.

Audio and Communication

The UVC-AI-360 supports two-way audio with a built-in microphone and speaker. The microphone can be disabled in the software if audio recording is not required. This makes the camera suitable for both surveillance and interactive applications, such as intercom systems.

Management and Software

Setup, configuration, and monitoring of the camera are handled via UniFi Protect. The mobile app is available for iOS and Android, allowing remote access to live feeds and recordings. The UniFi Protect platform enables centralized management of multiple cameras, simplifying scalability for growing installations.

Mounting and Housing

The housing is constructed from an aluminum alloy, polycarbonate, and a hard-coated dome. Mounting materials include polycarbonate and stainless steel. The camera achieves IK08 vandal resistance and IPX4 weatherproofing for sheltered outdoor use. A surface mount is included; a junction box is available as optional accessory. Dimensions are ⌀147×49 mm, with a weight of 655 g without the mount and 685 g with outdoor accessories.

Power and Network

The camera is powered via 802.3af PoE and connects to the network through a GbE RJ45 port. Power is supplied at 48 V DC with 0.18 A PoE, and maximum power consumption is 8.64 W. The supported voltage range is 37–57 V DC. A link/activity LED indicates operational status, and a reset button allows restoration to factory settings.
