Performance and Image Quality

The UVC-G5-Dome camera features a 5-MP CMOS sensor combined with a dual-core Arm Cortex-A7 processor. It delivers a resolution of 2688 x 1512 in 16:9 format at a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second. Video compression supports the H.264 and MJPEG formats to optimize bandwidth according to surveillance requirements.

The fixed-focal-length lens offers a horizontal field of view of 102,4°, a vertical field of view of 71,4°, and a diagonal field of view of 134,3°, covering large areas. Adjustable image settings include color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, exposure control, 2DNR and 3DNR noise reduction, motion noise reduction, masking, and text overlay.

Night Mode and Smart Detection

Night mode uses the integrated infrared LED illumination and an IR-cut filter to ensure a night vision range of up to 9 m. The camera supports smart detection functions for people, vehicles, and animals, allowing events to be filtered and categorized.

Design and Durability

The housing is made of an aluminum alloy, polycarbonate, and a hardened dome, while the mount is made of polycarbonate and stainless steel. The camera is protected against splash water to IPX4 and against impact and vandalism damage to IK08. It operates at temperatures from -20 to 40 °C and humidity of 0 to 90% without condensation.

Audio and Connectivity

The camera features a microphone and speaker for two-way audio, with the microphone able to be disabled via software. The network interface is a 10/100 MbE RJ45 port. An R/G/B/W LED indicates connection and activity status, and a factory reset button is present on the device.

Installation and Power Supply

The camera can be mounted on walls or ceilings. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) with a supported voltage range of 37 to 57 VDC and a maximum power consumption of 5 W. This single-cable solution simplifies installation, as less cabling is required.
