On the 5 GHz band, it achieves a maximum data rate of 2.4 Gbps (BW160), while on 2.4 GHz, it reaches up to 600 Mbps (BW40). With a total of 8 spatial streams (4x4 per band) and support for channel bandwidths up to 160 MHz, it delivers an aggregated wireless rate of 3.0 Gbps. Transmit power reaches up to 26 dBm on both bands, with antenna gains of 5.5 dBi (5 GHz) and 4 dBi (2.4 GHz). The access point is powered by a dual-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.35 GHz with 512 MB of RAM, ensuring reliable processing of all data streams. Backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac is standard.

Design and Mounting

The polycarbonate housing and stainless steel (SUS304) mounting bracket make the U6-LR robust and durable. With a diameter of 220 mm and a height of 48 mm (⌀8.7 x 1.9"), it blends seamlessly into any environment. The device weighs 800 g (1.8 lb) without the bracket and 930 g (2.1 lb) with it. The IP54 certification allows for use in indoor and semi-protected outdoor areas. The access point is powered via PoE+ (802.3at) and accepts a voltage range of 44–57 V DC; maximum power consumption is 18.5 W. The included Pro bracket enables ceiling or wall mounting. An RGB LED indicates system status in white or blue. The operating temperature range spans from -30 to 60 °C, with humidity tolerance between 5 and 95% (non-condensing).

Management and Security

The U6-LR is centrally managed via the UniFi Network Application (version 6.0.45 or later). Setup can be performed via Ethernet or Bluetooth. A comprehensive suite of professional networking features is included:
