Image Quality and Light Sensitivity

The 43.3 mm (Type 2.7) Progressive Scan CMOS sensor delivers native 16 MP with a maximum resolution of 5344 × 3008 (16:9) or 4944 × 3296 (3:2). Lightcatcher technology enables a minimum illumination of just 0.004 Lux (at F1.4), ensuring usable video data even in near-dark environments. The adjustable dynamic range reaches 120 dB with WDR enabled, effectively balancing extreme brightness differences. Electronic shutter control (1/7.5 to 1/8000 sec), iris control, and backlight compensation can be adjusted manually or automatically to suit the scene.

Intelligent Analysis Features

The integrated video analytics reliably detects and classifies people in indoor mode. In outdoor mode, vehicles are additionally distinguished by subtype (car, truck, bicycle, motorcycle, bus). The following analysis events are available: objects in area, stationary object, objects in tripwire area, object appears or enters area, object not present in area, objects enter area, objects leave area, object stops in area, and direction ignored. In full-function mode, the camera prioritizes analysis functions over other tasks; H.265 is disabled in this mode.

Network Integration and Security

The camera supports multi-stream H.264, H.265 with HDSM SmartCodec, and Motion JPEG. Bandwidth management utilizes HDSM SmartCodec technology and an inactive scene mode. Network connectivity includes 1000-BASE-T/100-BASE-TX or SFP ports, with cabling via CAT5e or fiber optic. Comprehensive security mechanisms such as password protection, HTTPS encryption, Digest and WS authentication, 802.1x port-based authentication, and FIPS 140-2 L1 protect access. ONVIF Profile S compliance ensures easy integration into existing VMS environments.

Mechanical Features and Power Supply

The compact aluminum housing (142 mm × 87 mm × 82 mm, 0.5 kg) with black powder coating features 1/4" UNC-20 threads on top and bottom for flexible mounting. Power supply options include 12 VDC (±10 %, ~18 W), 24 VAC (±10 %, ~21 VA), or PoE+ (IEEE802.3at Class 4). A two-pin terminal block and a 3V manganese-lithium RTC backup battery are integrated. Two microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC slots (Class 10/UHS-1 recommended) serve as internal storage, with one slot currently usable. Audio line-level input/output (3.5 mm jack) and external alarm inputs/outputs expand connectivity options.
