Image Quality and Low-Light Performance

The 1/2.8-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensor delivers crisp 2-megapixel images with a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 (16:9). LightCatcher technology enables a minimum illumination of 0.01 Lux in color mode and 0.005 Lux in monochrome mode—with integrated IR illumination (850 nm, 15 m range), it operates even at 0 Lux. The dual-exposure WDR function with 110 dB reliably compensates for extreme brightness differences, preserving details in both bright and dark areas. An electronic shutter (1/7.5 to 1/8000 s), automatic day/night switching, and adjustable white balance and flicker control options round out the imaging capabilities.

Intelligent Video Compression and Bandwidth Management

The camera supports H.265 and H.264 with HDSM SmartCodec technology, which adjusts bitrate according to image complexity, reducing network load. The Idle Scene Mode further reduces data rates during event-free periods. Multi-streaming in H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG allows simultaneous delivery of different quality levels. Resolution scaling goes down to 384 × 216, and the maximum frame rate is 25 fps (50 Hz) or 30 fps (60 Hz).

Rugged Design and Easy Installation

The housing made of polycarbonate and aluminum in cool gray is weatherproof to IP66 and impact-resistant to IK08. The camera operates reliably at temperatures from -30 °C to +55 °C and withstands storage conditions from -40 °C to +70 °C. With compact dimensions of 100 × 100 × 115 mm and a weight of only 0.355 kg, it can be mounted discreetly. The 360° pan, ±180° azimuth, and 0°–90° tilt range offer maximum flexibility in positioning. Power is supplied via PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 0), and network connectivity is via 100BASE-TX with RJ45 connector and CAT5 cabling.

Security and Compliance

Comprehensive security mechanisms protect access: password protection, HTTPS encryption, digest authentication, WS authentication, user access logging, and 802.1x port-based authentication. The camera is ONVIF compliant according to Profile S and T and supports a variety of protocols including IPv6, IPv4, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, NTP, RTSP, RTP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, and SNMP v2c/v3.
