Systematic Troubleshooting Methodology
The training provides a structured approach to troubleshooting. You’ll learn to identify and resolve the nine most common causes of poor WLAN performance—from channel interference and capacity bottlenecks to outdated PHY rates. You’ll also address the seven most frequent user complaints, including connection drops, slow speeds, and roaming issues. Using the troubleshooting checklist and proven steps, you’ll systematically analyze Coverage, Capacity, and Channels (the three 'C's) and perform precise root cause analysis.
Hands-On Labs and Tools
The course emphasizes intensive hands-on exercises. You’ll work with Ekahau AI Pro, Survey, and Analyzer, as well as Sidekick 2, to simulate real-world troubleshooting scenarios. You’ll conduct assessment surveys, analyze live RF data, use packet capture and spectrum analysis, and apply various survey methods—from Stop & Go to Continuous, Autopilot, and GPS. Integration with Ekahau and Speedtest further accelerates issue resolution. This enables you to quickly and accurately identify even complex disruptions.
Certification and Career Benefits
Upon passing the exam, you’ll receive the ECSE Troubleshooting Certificate, which automatically extends all your existing ECSE certifications by three years. The curriculum is BICSI-accredited and qualifies for Continuing Education Credits (CECs). The training is offered globally in multiple languages and time zones—either as virtual or in-person instruction with an identical curriculum and expert instructors. This strengthens your position as a certified Wi-Fi expert and keeps you current with the latest standards, including 6 GHz deployments.
