Exam content is clearly weighted: Wi-Fi Predictive Design (30%) and Wi-Fi Validation Surveys (28%) form the core, supplemented by Contention (9%), RF Fundamentals (8%), and additional domains such as Wi-Fi Security, Association & Roaming, and Ekahau Reporting. In 13 hands-on exercises, participants directly apply what they’ve learned, analyze spectra, conduct packet captures, and optimize networks using Ekahau AI Pro Online and Sidekick 2.

Certification and Accreditation

The training is BICSI-accredited and qualifies for BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs). Upon successful completion, participants receive the ECSE Design Certification, validating their expertise in professional Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting using Ekahau solutions. The exam covers all eleven knowledge domains, ensuring certified professionals can confidently manage complex WLAN projects from planning through validation.

Technical Requirements and Course Format

The course is delivered as virtual, instructor-led training. The daily agenda includes a morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, a one-hour lunch break, and an afternoon session from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Participants need a computer with administrator rights to install Ekahau AI Pro, a stable internet connection, video and audio capabilities, and a physical mouse. For the duration of the course, a temporary Ekahau Connect license is provided, granting access to AI Pro, Survey, and Analyzer.
