Ekahau Measure Pro is aimed at field network technicians and IT teams who need to collect precise Wi-Fi data and diagnose network issues. The license makes it possible to delegate data collection to local teams, allowing Senior Network Engineers to avoid travel and shorten time to problem resolution. Field teams capture the exact survey data required for analysis and optimization by more experienced network engineers.

Measurement and Diagnostics

The license supports the collection of measurement data in the 2,4, 5 and 6 GHz frequency bands in combination with the Ekahau Sidekick 2. Tri-band spectrum analysis helps narrow down and diagnose Wi-Fi interference. Multi-channel Wi-Fi packet captures extend the diagnostic capabilities with detailed packet analysis across multiple channels.

Reports and Offline Functionality

Live heatmaps and remote analysis are supported features that enable evaluation of the collected data from afar. Client-ready reports, bills of materials, and read-only shares can be generated directly from the survey data. For environments without a cloud connection, an offline function with non-cloud tools is available.

Hardware Requirements and Compatibility

Operation requires the Ekahau Sidekick 2 as well as a supported iOS or Android device. The license can be combined with Ekahau Plan or the Ekahau Software Suite to enable end-to-end Wi-Fi lifecycle management. Field teams capture the Wi-Fi data, while experienced network engineers drive design, optimization, and analysis.
