Coverage Details

The Ekahau Sidekick 2 Extended Warranty covers hardware defects resulting from material or manufacturing faults only. If such a defect occurs during the 24-month extension period, Ekahau will, at its sole discretion, repair the device, replace it with an equivalent product, or refund the purchase price. The extended warranty begins immediately after the standard Ekahau Hardware Limited Warranty expires, ensuring uninterrupted protection for your investment.

Warranty Terms and Exclusions

The extended warranty applies exclusively to Ekahau hardware products and is subject to clearly defined conditions. Coverage excludes damage caused by the following:

• Removal or tampering with the serial number
• Accidents, misuse, liquid damage, contamination, or improper maintenance
• Operation outside specified usage parameters
• Use of software, interfaces, parts, or consumables not provided by Ekahau
• Improper site preparation, maintenance, or environmental conditions
• Viruses or malware not introduced by Ekahau
• Loss or damage during transit
• Modification or service by unauthorized third parties
• Faulty installation of end-user replaceable parts
• Overclocking

Claims and Liability

To make a warranty claim, you must notify Ekahau in writing of the defect during the warranty period and promptly return the affected hardware product to Ekahau. All shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Ekahau’s liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price paid for the hardware product. No further claims are permitted.

This warranty extension is governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, excluding its conflict of laws provisions. The exclusive venue for any disputes is the State of New York. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in New York, New York, U.S.A.
