Display and Touch Experience

The display offers 4K UHD resolution at 3840 × 2160 pixels, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC). With 85% NTSC color gamut (typical) and 178° viewing angles, the D-LED panel with zero-gap bonding ensures uniform and true-to-life color reproduction. The infrared touchscreen supports 20 simultaneous touch points with ±1 mm precision and a touch detection distance of ≤1.5 mm. Writing latency is ≤25 ms, enabling smooth and natural handwritten notes. Intelligent handwriting recognition converts handwritten text and graphics into standardized formats.

Audio and Video Features

The device features six microphones covering a 180° pickup angle and a 10 m range, with a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. Playback is handled by two full-range and two tweeter speakers with stereo support, a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz, and a maximum output of 30 W. The integrated camera offers a maximum field of view of 80° horizontal and 50° vertical, 2x digital zoom, an f/1.8 aperture, and 4K video output resolution. TV distortion is less than 2%.

Projection and Connectivity

The IdeaHub Board 2 supports wireless projection up to 4K at 30 fps and wired projection via Type-C and HDMI up to 4K at 60 fps. Projection modes include IdeaShare projection code, wired projection via HDMI and Type-C, optional IdeaShare Key, NFC, and dropdown menu projection. The dual Wi-Fi module operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for a stable wireless connection. Supported client operating systems include Android, Windows, iOS, and macOS. During projection, annotations can be added, and a reverse-control function allows control of projecting devices from the display.

Ports and Expansion

The front panel includes one USB Type-C port and two USB Type-A 3.0 ports for easy access. The side panel features one additional USB Type-A 3.0 port, one USB Type-B port, two HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, one COM port, one RJ45 network port, one 80-pin OPS port, and one 3.5 mm line-in and line-out port each. An OPS module is available as an optional upgrade via the 80-pin port. Optional accessories include a rolling stand and wall mount, available for 65", 75", and 86" sizes, as well as the IdeaShare Key.

System and Whiteboard Features

The device is powered by a quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM, and 32 GB flash storage. It runs on Android 9.0 and Windows 10. The whiteboard supports intelligent handwriting recognition and offers multiple saving options: via QR code scan, email, local storage, or USB drive. Third-party conferencing apps can be installed and used directly on the device.
