Design and materials

The HUAWEI WATCH 5 features a 46 mm aerospace-grade titanium case topped with spherical sapphire glass. The violet and grey synthetic leather strap completes the compact design, measuring 46 mm × 46 mm × 11.3 mm. The case alone weighs approximately 58 g.

The display is a 1.5-inch colour AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, making it suitable for everyday aquatic environments.

Health monitoring

The X-TAP sensor integrates three technologies: ECG, PPG, and a touch sensor, enabling real-time health monitoring directly from the wrist. ECG measurement is supported, as is heart rate variability (HRV) tracking.

SpO₂ measurement is performed on-demand in real time, with results available in 10 seconds. The Health Glance feature captures up to 10 key health metrics in one minute. Heart rate tracking is powered by HUAWEI TruSeen™ 5.5 technology.

Connectivity and navigation

The HUAWEI WATCH 5 supports mobile calling via eSIM, allowing calls and navigation without a smartphone. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity ensures faster internet connections. The dual-band five-system GNSS, combined with HUAWEI Sunflower technology, delivers 35% improved positioning accuracy.

The watch is compatible with Android™ and iOS, ensuring seamless integration with major mobile ecosystems.

Battery life and charging

The HUAWEI WATCH 5 offers two power modes. In standard mode with typical use, battery life lasts up to 4.5 days; with always-on display (AOD) enabled, it drops to up to 3 days. In power-saving mode, typical battery life extends to up to 7 days, and up to 11 days in maximum power-saving mode. With AOD enabled in power-saving mode, battery life lasts up to 4.5 days.

Wireless charging provides a full day of use in just 15 minutes.
