Positioning & GPS Performance

The watch employs a dual-band GPS receiver combined with a 3D floating antenna design that isolates the antenna from metallic interference in the case. An intelligent convergent positioning algorithm processes the satellite signals to achieve up to 20% more precise positioning than standard GPS implementations. Offline maps with voice navigation are available for running routes, allowing athletes to follow courses without carrying a phone.

Design & Materials

The case is machined from aerospace-grade titanium alloy, keeping the watch body at 34.5 g without the strap and 10.7 mm thick excluding the sensor area. The display is protected by 2nd-generation Kunlun Glass™ for enhanced durability against impact. Two straps are included in the box: a HUAWEI AirDry™ fabric strap weighing 9 g with 26% improved ventilation, and a fluoroelastomer strap for water-based activities. The AirDry™ fabric design promotes airflow to reduce moisture buildup during extended training sessions.

Health Monitoring

The watch provides ECG analysis with a 30-second measurement cycle, alongside continuous real-time heart rate monitoring and pulse wave analysis. All-day heart rate variability (HRV) tracking captures autonomic nervous system trends throughout the day and night. Sleep monitoring records sleep phases, wake-up time, total sleep hours, breathing rate, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. SpO₂ monitoring measures blood oxygen saturation on demand. An automatic altitude adaptation warning triggers at elevations of 2,500 m or higher. Fall detection initiates an automatic SOS emergency call after 60 seconds without user confirmation.

Sport Modes & Training Intelligence

More than 100 sport modes are supported, including trail running, golf, freediving and a dedicated wheelchair mode. The intelligent marathon mode provides scientifically based training plans incorporating lactate threshold measurement, running ability index (RAI), training intensity analysis and performance prediction. Golf course maps cover 17,000+ courses worldwide. For freediving, the watch is rated to depths of up to 40 m under the EN 13319 standard. Automatic training recognition detects activity start and feeds detailed analysis into the HUAWEI Health app. A complimentary 3-month HUAWEI Health+ membership is included.

Battery & Charging

A lithium-ion battery with 33% higher energy density powers the watch for up to 14 days in light usage, up to 7 days under typical conditions and up to 32 hours during outdoor training with active GPS. Fast charging support reduces downtime between sessions. Battery life figures represent maximum values under the respective usage profiles.

Display, Connectivity & Compatibility

The AMOLED display reaches up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, maintaining legibility in direct sunlight. Bluetooth calling lets the wearer accept and place calls directly from the wrist. Standalone music playback allows audio to be stored and played without a connected phone. The watch is compatible with iOS 13.0 or higher and Android 9.0 or higher, pairing through the HUAWEI Health app for data synchronisation and training analysis.
