Powerful and Reliable Connectivity

The BR2 Micro combines two CAT-4 cellular modems with Peplink’s SpeedFusion VPN technology to ensure always-available internet access. With a router throughput of 300 Mbit/s, it reliably supports up to 60 users. SpeedFusion provides Hot Failover, Smoothing, and Bandwidth Bonding, achieving VPN throughputs of 80 Mbit/s (unencrypted) or 60 Mbit/s with 256-bit AES encryption. Multiple outbound policy algorithms enable intelligent load distribution, while advanced QoS prioritizes business-critical applications.

Rugged Design for Outdoor Use

The BR2 Micro’s fanless metal housing withstands harsh environmental conditions. Its operating temperature range of -40 °C to 65 °C and humidity tolerance of 15% to 95% (non-condensing) make it ideal for outdoor installations, vehicles, and industrial sites. Power can be supplied flexibly via 10–30 V DC, USB-C (9 V), or the included AC adapter, with a nominal power consumption of just 8 W. An integrated GPS module enables location tracking and fleet management via InControl 2.

Intelligent Management and Security

The BR2 Micro can be easily managed via the web interface, command-line interface, or the cloud-based InControl 2 platform. SNMP v1/v2c/v3, email notifications, and detailed bandwidth statistics provide full visibility. A stateful firewall, DoS prevention, and web blocking protect the network. For VPN connections, SpeedFusion and IPsec with 256-bit AES encryption, pre-shared key or X.509 authentication are available. The integrated Captive Portal with RADIUS authentication and customizable splash page enables secure guest access.
