Connectivity & Cellular
The router includes a built-in CAT-4 modem with a downlink data rate of 150 Mbps and an uplink data rate of 50 Mbps. Redundant SIM slots support Nano-SIM (4FF), Peplink eSIM, and BYO eSIM with two profiles. Supported LTE bands include B1, B3, B5, B7, B8, B20, B38, B40, and B41. For 3G, WCDMA/HSPA+/DC-HSPA+ is supported on bands B1, B5, and B8. Two SMA cellular antenna connectors and one SMA GPS antenna connector are available for antenna connections.
Network & Security
The WAN interface consists of a 10/100/1000M Ethernet port with support for PPPoE, static IP, DHCP, WAN link health check, bandwidth allowance monitor, and dynamic DNS. The WAN port can be converted into a LAN port. The LAN interface also offers 10/100/1000M Ethernet with DHCP server, extended DHCP option, DHCP reservation, DNS proxy, and VLAN support.
Security features include a stateful firewall, DoS prevention, and web blocking. SpeedFusion VPN provides hot failover, site-to-site VPN, 256-bit AES encryption, and pre-shared key authentication. IPsec VPN supports network-to-network connections. Advanced QoS enables individual bandwidth limits and application prioritization for SIP, HTTPS, and VPN, as well as custom application QoS. Networking includes NAT and IP forwarding, static routes, port forwarding, many-to-one and one-to-one NAT, NAT pool, SIP ALG, H.323 ALG, UPnP, and NAT-PMP.
Management & Features
Device management includes a web administration interface, command-line interface, and InControl cloud management. Additional features include email notifications, active client and session lists, bandwidth usage statistics, syslog service, and SNMP v1, v2c, and v3. A captive portal supports wired and wireless LAN clients, RADIUS authentication, time and usage quotas in open-access mode, and a customizable splash page. The firmware used is Peplink MAX Firmware.
Wi-Fi & Serial
The Wi-Fi interface supports simultaneous dual-band with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on Wi-Fi 5 with 2x2 MIMO. Two RP-SMA connectors are available for Wi-Fi antennas. The serial port supports RS-232 and RS-485 and is compatible with dual-serial port Y-cables.
Power Supply & Mounting
Power can be supplied via PoE (802.3at), a Micro-Fit connector, or a 4-pin to USB-C cable. The power port accepts 10V to 30V DC. An AC adapter operates with an input of 100V to 240V and a DC output of 12V 2A. Power consumption is 13W nominal and 18W maximum. The power port offers GPIO and ignition sensing. The router is compatible with DIN rail mounting.
SpeedFusion & VPN
SpeedFusion includes hot failover, smoothing, and bandwidth bonding features. The router throughput rate is 300 Mbps. SpeedFusion VPN throughput is 80 Mbps without encryption and 60 Mbps with 256-bit AES. The number of SpeedFusion peers is 2 or 5. A feature pack add-on enables Ethernet WAN, Wi-Fi WAN, hot failover, smoothing, and bandwidth bonding.
Compatible Accessories
Compatible accessories include a 5-in-1 cellular and Wi-Fi antenna system with GPS receiver, available in black and white. Additional accessories include a 10-foot DC power cable, a dual-serial Y-cable, a 4-pin Micro-Fit to USB-C power cable, and a DIN rail mounting kit.
