Performance and Coverage

The antenna covers cellular bands from 617 to 960 MHz, 1427 to 1517 MHz, 1710 to 2700 MHz, 3400 to 4200 MHz, and 5000 to 6000 MHz, enabling support for a wide range of operators and cellular technologies, including 5G bands up to 6 GHz. Maximum gain reaches 6 dBi on cellular bands, 6.5 dBi for Wi-Fi, and 21 dBi for GPS. VSWR is less than 2:1 for cellular signals and less than 2.5:1 for Wi-Fi, ensuring good impedance matching across all bands.

The two Wi-Fi antennas operate in dual-band simultaneously on 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 5.0 to 7.2 GHz, supporting Wi-Fi 3, 4, 5, 6, and 6E standards. The GPS/GLONASS antenna operates at 1575.42 MHz and 1600 MHz with a gain of 21 dBi, ensuring reliable satellite reception for navigation and fleet-tracking applications.

Design and Durability

The antenna housing, in black and measuring Ø160 mm x 65 mm, is made from halogen-free PC+ABS material with a UV-resistant ASA coating. The IP69K rating ensures resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, while the IK 10 impact resistance guarantees mechanical durability. The antenna withstands winds up to 220 km/h and operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, with a permissible relative humidity of up to 98%.

Compliance with the MIL-STD 810G/ASTM B117 salt-spray test and the UL 94-HB flammability rating confirms its suitability for marine and coastal environments. The antenna features DC short-circuiting and a grounding path, providing protection against electrostatic discharge.

Connectivity and Cabling

The antenna has seven ports in total: four LTE ports, two Wi-Fi ports, and one GPS port. Each port is equipped with a 2-meter RTK-031 coaxial cable terminated with an SMA male connector. The nominal impedance is 50 Ohms with linear vertical polarization. The permissible input power is 10 W, with a maximum power of 50 W for the active GPS system.

The GPS/GLONASS module operates with a DC voltage of 2.7 to 3.3 V and a current of 5 to 15 mA, with a noise figure of ≤1.5 dB. The filter’s out-of-band attenuation reaches a minimum of 12 dB at f0+50 MHz and 16 dB at f0-50 MHz.

Installation and Mounting

The antenna offers multiple mounting options: pole, wall, surface, and marine environments, with an optional magnetic mount. The mounting bracket includes a Ø25 mm threaded stud for clamping thicknesses up to 25 mm, a pole/wall mounting bracket, and an adhesive surface-mount bracket. The MBK-1 accessory is available for additional mounting configurations.

Applications

The antenna is designed for transport and marine markets, with primary applications in commercial and industrial vehicles, marine and coastal environments, as well as M2M and IoT systems. Its ultra-wideband coverage enables multi-operator and multi-technology use while remaining compatible with future cellular developments up to 6 GHz.
