The Poynting 9-in-1 MIMO antenna combines four cellular 4x4 MIMO LTE/5G antennas, four 4x4 MIMO Wi-Fi antennas, and one GPS/GLONASS antenna in a single housing, specifically designed for transportation and marine applications. Performance & Coverage
The four cellular MIMO antennas provide wideband coverage from 617 to 6000 MHz, supporting current LTE/4G and 5G frequency bands. The ultra-wideband performance enables use with various carriers and technologies, and is future-proof for cellular technologies up to 6 GHz. The four dual-band Wi-Fi antennas simultaneously support 2.4 GHz and 5 to 7.2 GHz per antenna, delivering 4x4 MIMO capability with 6.5 dBi gain.
Design & Robustness
The antenna is rated IP69K for protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, and withstands impacts rated IK 10. The radome, made of PC+ABS (halogen-free) with UV-stable ASA, is classified UL 94-HB. Operation is possible in temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C at relative humidity up to 98%. The antenna withstands wind speeds up to 220 km/h.
Mounting & Applications
The ground-plane-independent, omnidirectional design with internal ground plane simplifies installation on various surfaces. Available mounting options include mast, wall, surface, marine, and optional magnetic mounting. With a diameter of 160 mm and height of 65 mm, the antenna is compact. Primary applications include commercial and industrial vehicles, marine environments, M2M, and other IoT systems.
GPS/GLONASS Reception
The integrated GPS/GLONASS antenna operates in the frequency range of 1575.42 MHz and 1600 MHz with a noise figure of ≤1.5 dB and a gain of 21 dBi. Supply voltage is 2.7 to 3.3 V with a current draw of 5 to 15 mA. Out-of-band filter attenuation is at least 12 dB at f0+50 MHz and at least 16 dB at f0-50 MHz.
