Performance & Frequency Range

The antenna operates as a narrowband RFID antenna in the 820 to 970 MHz frequency range, achieving a peak gain of 8 dBi. It is unidirectionally aligned and linearly polarised. The VSWR is less than 1.4:1 over 80% of the band.

The input impedance is 50 ohms (nominal), and the feed power rating is specified at 10 W. A DC short circuit is present. The coaxial cable loss is 0.385 dB/m at 900 MHz.

Design & Environmental Conditions

The antenna features a rugged housing design with an IP65 protection rating and IK08 impact resistance. The radome is made of halogen-free ABS in the colour telegrey 4 (RAL 7047). The antenna is designed for indoor and outdoor use.

The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +70°C at a relative humidity of up to 98%. The wind survival rating is specified at less than 160 km/h. Salt spray resistance complies with MIL-STD 810F/ASTM B117, and the housing flammability rating is UL 94-HB.

Mounting & Connection

The antenna is supplied with a factory-fitted 0.3 m HDF-195 coaxial cable and an N-type female connector. It features a single port and is configured as a SISO antenna. Mounting is via mast installation.
