Performance & Design

The antenna delivers omni-directional radiation across the 2400 to 2500 MHz frequency range with a peak gain of 8 dBi. It uses linear vertical polarisation and presents a nominal input impedance of 50 Ohm. A VSWR of less than 1.5:1 supports efficient power transfer, and the antenna handles up to 10 W of feed power. The N-Type female connector at the base allows connection to a cable of the desired type and length, giving installers flexibility in cable routing and length selection. The SISO configuration and compact cylindrical form factor measuring 306 mm in height and 70 mm in diameter make the antenna suitable for deployments where space is constrained.

Environmental Durability

The enclosure carries an IP69K rating for protection against high-pressure water and dust ingress, together with an IK10 impact-resistance rating for vandal resistance. It is built from UV-stable ASA material and carries a UL 94-HB flammability rating. The antenna survives wind speeds below 190 km/h and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C with relative humidity up to 98%. Salt-spray resistance is validated to MIL-STD 810G and ASTM B117 standards, and storage conditions extend across the same temperature range with humidity from 5% to 95% non-condensing.

The antenna is suited for IoT and M2M applications including smart utility metering for power, gas, and water, smart building systems for climate and access control, industrial factory automation, and agricultural monitoring. It supports both outdoor and indoor installations and offers pole, wall, and surface mounting for flexible deployment across varied site conditions.
